When I got to my room, there was a pile of trash in front of it and dirty towels, but the room was clean. Are you kidding me? A resort fee? Elevators were kind of dirty. They charge a resort fee of like 14 bucks. The place is on a skeleton crew from Monday-Wednesday. Now the bad (some of this can be considered ticky tac). Fast elevators and there were 4 of them and you had to have a room key to go up so good security. Fridge in room, large screen TV with nice remote and good service. So first of all, the room was great! Very comfortable bed, clean, very large as was the bathroom. Overall I would give our stay in Shreveport a solid D-… Marcos hospitality was the saving grace. Service was wonderful… Marco was excellent! My husbands baked potato was undercooked. My husband and I ventured to the steak house for dinner. The refrigerator in the room did not work. The shower water pressure was at best a trickle, it took me 5 minutes to wash the shampoo from my hair. Walked down to the front desk to ask for a change of linen only to be told they did not have any duvet covers. Called the front desk for room service only to have the phone ring and go unanswered for at least 5 minutes. Turned down the bedding to find soiled linens (appeared to be urine stains). Arrived in our room (504) to the lovely smell of stale cigarettes and must. Escalators were out of service and only two elevators were working. I had the misfortune of staying in the hotel on 11/26!/2023! Upon check in there was no valet and we were told to “ fend for ourselves “ with luggage and an elderly parent.
